Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Beta 1 has been released along with it's official flavors. This first beta has plenty of new software updates.
The following official flavors takes place in the list.
- Ubuntu GNOME
- Ubuntu Kylin
- Ubuntu MATE
- Lubuntu
- Xubuntu
As you noticed, Ubuntu regular version (with Unity desktop) and Kubuntu have not participated in this list. Hope they will make it in the second beta release.

We already have posted a step by step instructions to upgrade to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS development branch from Ubuntu 15.10. For those who wants to give it a try, go through the following link.
Ubuntu pre-releases are not for production purposes. However you can try this beta release if you want to test and report any bugs to the Ubuntu development team. Ubuntu 16.04 final beta (beta 2) will be available on 24 March, 2016 and final version will be out on April 21st, 2016.
